Cannabis Dispensary Vancouver | All of our members are genuine medical patients who have been diagnosed by a medical practitioner. Kandu CannaMeds endeavours to get to know our patients in order to enable us to know their needs and how our products affect them. We are always available to answer members’ questions during business hours.

Our dispensary is conveniently located in downtown Vancouver on Davie Street at Burrard. Patients receiving treatment at St. Paul’s Hospital find our location convenient because we are just around the corner. We are also a short ride away from Kitsilano Beach, the downtown corridor, the West End, and many hotels.

Apart from having personal experience with cannabis, each of our staff members is required to read the latest scientific publications regarding cannabis and its effects on the body. Through their knowledge, all staff members are able to accurately advise our patients on the effects of our products and the titration of doses.

Our dispensary requires that patients have either a confirmation of diagnosis  of an illness that cannabis helps manage or cures from a licensed medical practitioner; or we require a note from a licensed medical practitioner recommending cannabis as treatment for specific illnesses.

The efficacy of cannabis is directly related to strain selection, therefore we recommend care be taken in selecting appropriate strains to meet your needs. Potency varies with strains. Kandu Cannameds has knowledgeable staff that can assist you with these important choices.

What kind of products do you carry?

Does my membership with you make it legal for me to carry cannabis anywhere in Canada?

Currently, cannabis remains federally illegal. The City of Vancouver has decided that patients have a genuine need for cannabis and that dispensaries serve that need. Therefore, the Vancouver Police Department has stated that inside their jurisdiction, prosecuting patients for cannabis is not a high priority.

Dear Kandu:
I am an adult male living with cystic fibrosis, which is a rare genetic disease that affects only 4,000 Canadians. The disease is congenital, incurable, and it’s always fatal. The most serious symptoms of cystic fibrosis include the production of thick, excessive mucus in the lungs and stomach caused by a faulty gene. Other symptoms include the inability to get hungry or early satiety (feeling full after a few bites of food), which are also problems that have plagued me for many years. Additionally, the disease personally causes me to experience intense pain in my body, an inability to sleep, and chronic fatigue. Sometimes the pain I experience is so great that I am unable to walk or move very well.

In the past, I was prescribed many drugs to deal with the multiple symptoms of my condition, including narcotic pain relievers and opioid analgesics, as well as benzodiazepines, muscle relaxants, and sedatives. I felt very uncomfortable taking all of these drugs and the side effects were very unpleasant and frightening, to say the least: addiction, constantly feeling groggy, and dryness of mouth, to name a few.

I started taking Cannatek gel caps five months ago, after receiving a recommendation for medical cannabis from a physician in British Columbia. I find them to be extremely effective and, since I began using them, I have not needed to use any of the medicines described above. I have been free of all opiates, opioids, benzodiazepines, and sedatives for the past five months.

I don’t have any side effects from using the gel caps, which I attribute to the fact that they only contain concentrated hemp oil. I also find Cannatek Gel Caps superior to any other cannabis capsules that I’ve tried (and I’ve tried several).

Other canna caps are large and contain ground decarboxylized flowers, hashish, or budder dissolved in oil. These types of capsules have a low and non-uniform potency, and they take a long time until the effects are felt.

Not so with the Cannatek Gel Caps. To begin with, they are tiny and contain 1mg of liquid. They are easy to swallow and the effects begin to take effect within 15 to 20 minutes. Cannatek Gel Caps are potent – if I take one or two, my chronic pain can be alleviated for six to seven hours, without feeling groggy or being unable to function. That’s miraculous! They also effectively stimulate my appetite and help me with getting a full night’s sleep. I totally recommend Cannatek Gel caps to other cystic fibrosis patients with symptoms similar to my own.

To me, Cannatek Gel Caps have been life-changing and I am now able to function better and lead a more productive life.

Thanks Canatek! And, Thanks Kandu! Keep up the good work!
